What We Can Do For You?

Accessible Kits

Working alongside Dr Tony Gibson, one of the worlds formost exponents of community planning, the krew have produced  accessible action packs for people with learning disabilities.

The Hands On Action pack (Yellow brick road)

Contains accessible and fun methods for planning any acvtivity and getting organised and can be used for anything from planning a bus trip, to a meal out or a visit to the cinema.

The Krew have devised a life size kit and can provide a workshop where you can meet characters who live along the road to help you plan your activity

Money, Money,Money,budget Kit

Will help people understand their money and work out their individual and group budgets.

The Show Must Go On kit

Helps people who want to organise running a klub, theatre performance, party or disco. This kit comes as part of a workshop package and support by Krew.

The kits have been piloted with learning disabled groups. These Kits can be used for groups or individuals and will be available for distribution soon.

Photos and Flyers

The Krew have always been heavily involved in the design of their flyers, and thought it was time to learn design them on the computer themselves. With support from Lifelong Learning at Gtaheshead Council, they embarked upon a series of training in photography and design with Sam. This led to them completing an NVQ level 2 qualification.

The course been such a success that the Krew are now designing logos, posters, flyers and artwork for themselves and other groups in the community and they hope to take this work forward to provide a design service to raise funds for their project so they can become more sustainable in the future

"I have greatly enjoyed working with them as their enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and put them into excellent practical use are infectious" Sam Leighton, tutor.
